The first incident occurred on a farm in Indiana County. The witness, who was finishing a chore near a farm building, heard a noise that sounded like something being thrown around. Upon exiting, she saw a figure crouching behind trees about 60 feet away, followed by a second similar figure nearby. The two figures then stood upright and began running around as if playing, according to researcher Stan Gordon, who collected the report.
The witness described the creatures as standing about three and a half feet tall, covered in straggly, medium-length light brown hair. She noted they appeared to have no visible neck, with heads resting directly on their shoulders. Their faces were darker brown than their bodies, and their eyes were round and dark brown. The witness, who did not have her phone with her, also described their arms as slender, resembling a young child's, and said they made noises like a baby cooing.
The encounter ended when the witness sneezed, alerting the creatures to her presence. She ran home and told her husband, who reported hearing loud knocks that day but saw nothing himself. The family dog was reportedly afraid to go outside after the incident, and the witness was awakened one night by a sound similar to the cooing she had heard.
The second sighting occurred the following night around 8 p.m. in Westmoreland County. A driver on a rural road said she saw a hair-covered creature running up a hill. She estimated its height at five feet, described it as moving on two legs, and noted it was covered in charcoal-gray hair. Gordon recorded her description of the creature's head as dome-shaped with no apparent neck, long arms that swung as it moved, and a slightly flat nose with flared nostrils. She did not notice ears, and its eyes were small and dark. The creature spun around and retreated down the hillside after she spotted it.
Gordon, who has documented such reports for decades, noted that the area has a history of Bigfoot and UFO sightings, but there is no evidence linking these recent incidents to prior ones. As with many such reports, no physical evidence was found, and no photographs were taken. The mystery of these purported mini-Bigfoot sightings remains unresolved, with Gordon continuing to collect accounts from the public.
