Nintendo's Ocarina of Time remake gets $10 preorder discount before November launch
Retailers Amazon and Walmart are offering $10 off the physical Switch 2 edition of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time ahead of its November 5 release.
Players who want a physical copy of the Nintendo Switch 2 remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time have one week left to preorder it at a $10 discount. Amazon and Walmart are both listing the game at $59.88, down from its $69.99 list price, and the offer ends when the title launches next Thursday, November 5.
The remake is a reimagining of the Nintendo 64 classic, a game that has long been considered a masterpiece of its era. Nintendo had the difficult task of rebuilding it for the Switch 2 while keeping what made the original memorable. Reviewers who have played some sections of the game say it is a lot of fun to play. They praise the graphics and art style, and they note that the controls have been modernized to be simpler to pick up. That change is aimed especially at players already familiar with third-person action games, including the more recent Zelda titles that have come out since the original release.
Retail pricing is likely to change once the game is on shelves. The physical version is expected to rise from $59.99 to $69.99 after launch, while the digital version is expected to stay at $59.99. That difference gives buyers who prefer a physical copy a clear reason to act within the preorder window, since the current discount is available only until release day. Buyers who are comfortable with a download, by contrast, face no comparable price jump.
The Ocarina of Time offer is one of several deals recently highlighted alongside other products. Sharge's Disk Pro 2, an HDMI dock that can house an M.2 2280-size SSD, is priced at $80.91 once a 10 percent on-page coupon is applied, down from $109.90. The dock also includes a 5Gbps USB-A port, SD and microSD card slots, USB-C passthrough charging for up to 80W, and a built-in magnet that lets it snap to a MagSafe-compatible iPhone. Elsewhere, a Play-Doh Blooms Rosy Petite bouquet kit is $18.74 at Amazon, down from $24.99. The kit includes all the tools needed to assemble and preserve the flowers, and the same product line is also presented as a possible holiday stocking stuffer.
Computing deals were also part of the roundup. Best Buy is one of the few retailers still selling the M4-equipped Apple Mac Mini, and it is the only one currently discounting it. The machine originally sold for $599 when it debuted in 2024, but its price rose because of what the publication calls RAMageddon, and it was hard to find in stock for a time. The 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD configuration now costs $649, which is cheaper than it has been for a while. A newer M6 version, which is moderately faster, is priced at $779 at Amazon, down from $899, though the form factor and port selection of the two models are nearly identical.
