A 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX STi with 65,000 miles is being offered for sale, with the seller saying the car has been in the same family since it was purchased new. The listing, posted on the Bring a Trailer auction platform, describes a well-kept performance sedan that combines a turbocharged engine with all-wheel drive and a manual gearbox.
According to the seller, the car was bought new by the seller's brother-in-law and was acquired by the seller in 2024. Since then, roughly 500 miles have been added under the current ownership. The car is offered with a clean Carfax report showing no accidents or other damage, and with a Texas title in the seller's name. The Texas title carries an "Exempt" notation in the Odometer Reading section.
The car is finished in World Rally Blue Pearl over black and blue upholstery. Its turbocharged 2.5-liter EJ257 flat-four has been modified with a front-mount intercooler, red-coated intercooler pipes, an APS intake hose, a TurboXS UTEC, an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator, and an aftermarket exhaust system, work the seller says was done in 2005. Power is routed to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle, a driver-controlled center differential, and limited-slip front and rear differentials.
Exterior and chassis details include an aluminum hood with a CW-style scoop, HID headlights, side skirts, power-adjustable mirrors, a rear wing, and a twin exhaust outlet. The car rides on silver-finished 17-inch 10-spoke BBS alloy wheels fitted with Hankook Ventus tires. Stopping power comes from four-wheel disc brakes, with Brembo four-piston calipers at the front and two-piston calipers at the rear. The seller states that the front-right CV axle and brake components were replaced in 2025. Blemishes are shown in the photo gallery.
Inside, the front bucket seats are trimmed in black and blue perforated Ecsaine, and matching upholstery extends to the rear seats and door panels. Equipment includes a Kenwood Excelon touchscreen stereo, aftermarket speakers, cruise control, and automatic climate control. A Defi-Link control unit sits beneath the passenger-side dashboard, and a Sirius satellite tuner is mounted under the driver's seat. The leather-wrapped steering wheel sits in front of a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,000-rpm redline, along with gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. An auxiliary gauge pod is mounted atop the dashboard.
The seller's start-up video, included in the gallery, captures a squealing noise from the engine bay. The listing does not offer further explanation for the sound. Prospective buyers are shown the car's condition through the photos and video, and bidding is conducted through the auction platform.
